Our Story

NAWIRI URBAN FARMING organization was created by Millicent Akinyi back in 2017. She was inspired by her love for farming and having seen how young women are struggling to make both ends meet for their family. Nawiri has now grown and it has like 30 women who are working hand in hand to grow as a team and support others.
